Indoor Tryout Process:
NEE will hold two rounds of tryouts for athletes interested in participating in our U14–U19 Indoor Season:
Tryout #1: November 14, 5-9pm
Tryout #2: November 21, 5-9pm
Athletes are encouraged to attend both tryouts to give our coaches the best opportunity to evaluate them, but only one tryout is required.
Following the November 21 tryout, coaches will narrow down the player pool and invite selected athletes to callbacks for a final week of evaluations.
Final team selections will be announced after callbacks on December 6.
Indoor Team Selection:
NEE Indoor offers teams from U12 through U19, with opportunities to compete in local, regional, and national tournaments at each age level.
For U14, U16, and U19, participation in the Indoor Season and team placement are determined through our tryout and evaluation process, which includes:
Two tryout dates
Callbacks/final evaluations
Final team selections
For U12, there are no separate tryout dates. The first practice on December 5 will serve as the evaluation for team placement.
Indoor Season Schedule:
The NEE Indoor Season runs from December through February and includes:
10 weekend practices held on Saturdays or Sundays for all age groups
10 weeknight skills sessions for U14, U16, and U19 athletes
Local, regional, and/or national tournaments based on team placement
Specific tournament schedules and competition levels will vary by team.

U12 OVERVIEW
As always, at NEE we strive to continue building our youth program. Depending on the numbers, players may be separated into teams or training squad, but we welcome any and all U12 girls and boys into our program.
If U12 registration numbers exceed court capacity, we may need to make cuts this year based on final numbers. Should cuts be necessary, a refund—minus the cost of the tryout session—will be issued to your account.
This is the age we want kids to begin training at a higher level, but also fall in love with the sport. Give us a try, BEGINNERS ENCOURAGED!
tournaments
We will attend U12 tournament opportunities locally.
Tournaments have not been released yet, we will provide information as soon as we know. In general, tournaments are usually on Saturday or Sunday mornings/afternoons throughout the months of Jan and Feb.
fees
The fee is $515 for the season tuition . This team fee covers all of our projected 10 Saturday training sessions + x1 tryout. All athletes guaranteed 10 Saturdays.
If more than your guaranteed sessions are cancelled due to inclement weather, NEE will aim to extend our season into March, otherwise, weather cancellations are NOT reimbursed or re-scheduled.

U14 OVERVIEW
As always, at NEE we aim to continue building our youth program. We do not intend to “CUT” any U14s from NEE this season.
We aim to select 8 U14 indoor teams this season (depending on overall age group numbers)

National Indoor Tournament:
We will be submitting four applications to attend The U14 National Indoor Tournament in Lancaster PA February 12-15, 2027 - there is no qualifier for this age level. Athletes selected to our top four U14 teams will be expected to attend the NIT.
Shooting Stars Indoor Tournaments:
Hosted in Fitchburg MA, in early and mid-February, we will be submitting an application to send 2 U14 teams to each of these events.
Local Tournaments:
Additionally we will be sending every team to as many possible local tournament offerings throughout the months of Jan-Feb. Tournaments are usually Saturday or Sunday mornings/afternoons.
fees
NEE’s first two tryout fees and callbacks are $55 each. If selected to be a part of the program, the team training fee is as follows:

$650
SUNDAY/MONDAY COMBO PACKAGE -20 sessions: $1,180
All athletes guaranteed 9 weeknight Skills Sessions & 9 Weekend Practices (could be more pending tournament qualification/opportunities).
** If selected to a team that travels to any long distance event, it is expected that each athlete will fund their own lodging/food/transportation as well as purchase a NEE uniform. Each tournament will also ask for a team fee to participate - team members will be responsible for this cost (TBD based on tournament operator)

At U16, the training moves from development to higher level, with focus shifting to high level tactical and skill implementation.
We will select 8 teams for the U16 age group. Teams 1-6 will train Sundays 10AM-12PM while 7th & 8th U16 teams will train Saturday mornings 8-10AM @ The Governor’s Academy

Teams 1-6 Will be attending either Jan 2nd NIQ @ Fitchburg, MA OR January 9th NIQ @ The Rim, Hampton NH
(Team assignment locations to be released in December)

Commitment Expectation:
U16 athletes are expected to attend practice every Sunday, participate at your Qualifying Tournament, local tournaments, and most importantly, any major long distance event your team earns a bid to.
If you cannot make any of the major tournaments please let us know before team selections.
