OVERVIEW OF FALL TRAINING
NEE South Fall Training consists of 6 guaranteed weekly training & skills sessions (possibly 7) leading up to the Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament.
U14: FALL SKILLS TRAINING
U16 & U19: TRYOUTS FOR SSTG TEAM or TRAINING SQUAD (skills only)
Shooting Star Thanksgiving (SSTG) is one of the largest and most premier field hockey tournaments in the country. Nearly 3,000 athletes compete over this three-day period in front of over 170 DI, DII and DIII college coaches. Read More HERE
tryouts for shooting star teams (U16-U19)
We will be using our first 2 fall sessions as tryouts to evaluate for the Shooting Star Showcase over Thanksgiving (November 28, 2025 – November 30, 2025)
We will be selecting x1 U16 and x1 U19 team to attend SSTG from this site. Athletes not selected to a roster will be placed on Training Squad. Opportunities to make a team are WIDE OPEN!
All information on tryouts and Sunday practices will be sent out once all registrations are collected by 9/10.

U14: Players born after July 31, 2011, are eligible.
U16: Players born after July 31, 2009, are eligible.
U19: Players born after July 31, 2007, are eligible.
